This opportunity will see you working on real game code; you’ll be working with current and next generation consoles as well as desktop platforms. You’ll also help to develop our in-house tools and support the overall development process. You’ll be working on the same projects as our experienced developers and will work directly with them, being mentored along the way. You will gain valuable experience in the full games development cycle, including bug tracking and collaborating with a QA team.
What we're looking for:
- A second year student of a Game Development, Computer Science or related degree
- Enthusiasm for programming, technologies and methods and a desire to keep up to date
- Excellent C++/C# programming knowledge
- Experience with 3D graphics APIs such as Direct3D, OpenGL or Vulkan
- Keen eye for detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Skills or interests considered a bonus
- Excellent maths skills
- Experience in profiling and optimisation techniques
- Experience with multithreaded programming
- Knowledge and experience of game engines such as Unity or Unreal
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python, LUA etc.
- An interest in games

Selection:

What to expect:
- Start your day any time between 8:00am and 10:00am
- 35 working hours per week with a 1 hour lunch break (with the opportunity to flex down to 30 minutes or up to 2 hours)
- Opportunity to apply for hybrid working (up to 2 days working from home per week)
