OVERVIEW OF ROLE
A great opportunity to join our team as a Senior Curator/ Art Consultant, working alongside our Creative Directors to curate considered, site-specific art collections for a global portfolio of luxury hotels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Researching, managing, and communicating with artists.
• Understanding and organising building plans and elevations provided by our clients.
• Supporting spatial planning to ensure the seamless integration of exquisite art collections.
• Overseeing and mentoring junior members of the team.
• Artwork documentation for meticulously recording and preserving information related to all
contemporary works.
• Leading client meetings and presenting curatorial proposals with clarity and confidence.
• Creating technical drawings and specifications for artwork production, ensuring precision and clear
instructions for international artisans and fabricators.
• Preparing tailored presentations for our global clientele.
• Remaining attuned to current design trends and interior aesthetics.
• Maintaining a deep understanding of client brands and the luxury hospitality landscape.
• Preparing and managing budgets with care and foresight.
• Crafting detailed briefs for artists and production partners.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of five years’ experience curating art and design specifically for high-end hospitality environments, with a deep understanding of luxury hotel standards.
• Proven experience in sourcing and thoughtfully styling accessories to elevate and complete hotel interiors.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in curating, interiors, spatial, branded environment design, architecture, industrial design or communication design.
• Prior experience managing at least one person.
• The ability to efficiently manage workloads across multiple accounts, ensuring a seamless and well-orchestrated workflow.
• Familiarity with building plans and elevations, enabling you to interpret and work confidently with complex designs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, a must-have skill for delivering precise, technically sound design solutions.
• Solid command of MS Word & Excel, along with fluency in InDesign and Photoshop.
• Excellent communication skills to support smooth collaboration and productive teamwork.
• Strong organizational capabilities, with the discipline to manage details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
• A keen eye for detail, ensuring every aspect of your work aligns with our standard of excellence.
