We are dotte, the UK’s first fully circular marketplace where parents can buy, sell, donate and recycle outgrown children’s clothing. We are on an ambitious journey to become the UK’s no.1 resale site for kidswear in the next 12 months. We’re in the early stages but we’re making things happen. We’ve secured some investment, we’re refining our marketplace, and growing our community.
We want to work with people who fit with our values. That means people who bring their whole self to work, who are kind, independent thinkers who are open minded, people invested in self development, and those who put collaboration above competition. We’re an open and flexible employer who puts family and wellbeing alongside profit and growth. That means we’re open to talking about working location and hours, among other things. It’s an exciting time to join our small team and help shape the future of dotte.
About you:
You are a community minded, data driven, multi-channel marketeer who can focus on building an engaged community of advocates, who loves nothing more than pursuing growth. Ideally you’ll have at least 3 years under your belt, but you’ll be hungry to make your own mark and help build a growth engine from scratch. You’re experienced and confident enough to help shape our overarching Growth Strategy, but also happy to roll up your sleeves and pitch in at all levels. We’re a start up after all.
With a focus on community building, acquisition, performance marketing and hypothesis testing, you’ll be the perfect complement to our Brand Marketing Lead who is all about brand positioning, content and engagement. We want you two to be the dream team, so close collaboration is absolutely critical to this role. As is trust and transparency. Ideally you're already a resale convert, having sold on depop, Vestiaire, Grailed, Ebay, Vinted etc.
The purpose of this role:
- To increase supply and demand by project managing, implementing and reporting on growth experiments and work streams across the business.
- Work across the team to constantly test, revise and improve our Growth Strategy.
- To manage a Growth Intern on implementing and tracking experiments, referrals and digital marketing activity.
Role and responsibilities:
- Drive early stage customer acquisition with strategic direction and tactical execution of paid and organic channels.
- Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Design and implement tracking plans, interpreting qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions across product and growth.
- Uncover and leverage new emerging channels and opportunities to accelerate growth.
- Work with the Founders and the Marketing Team to drive our product improvements and continuously optimise customer journeys and conversion funnels.
- Work with the Brand Marketing Lead to test and refine the Growth Strategy.
- Train and manage a Growth Intern to implement and track growth experiments and initiatives.
- Updating the team and reporting on paid marketing performance.
Qualifications Requirements:
- 3+ years growth/digital marketing experience.
- Entrepreneurial, with an enthusiasm for early-stage startups.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO factors and key algorithm updates.
- Relevant technical skills or knowledge include coding skills, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
- Analytical mindset and data-loving is essential.
- D2C experience.
- Community growth, management or engagement experience.
- Passionate about sustainability or the circular economy.
- Experience working for a marketplace is preferable.
We have an employee option pool and we're a friendly bunch.
