- Leadership and team‑working skills, with experience supervising staff, delegating tasks, and supporting professional development.
- Excellent communication and partnership skills for working with children, families, colleagues, and external professionals.
- Commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusive practice, ensuring all children’s wellbeing and equal opportunities.
- Organisational skills for managing room routines, record‑keeping, observations, and planning for individual and group needs.
- Relevant childcare qualification (e. g., Level 3 or above in Early Years/Education) and experience in a nursery or early years setting.
