Role Overview
We are seeking a highly technical and customer‑oriented Solutions Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will own the full customer journey from pre‑sales through implementation and ongoing success. You will bridge the gap between our Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, playing a critical role in both winning new business and ensuring customers get maximum value from Dotfile.
You will be responsible for understanding prospect requirements, designing tailored solutions, delivering compelling demonstrations, and guiding customers through onboarding, integration, and adoption of the platform. You will report directly to the Director of Solutions Consulting.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a technical advisor during the sales process, working alongside the Sales team to qualify opportunities and design solutions that address customer needs
- Lead technical discovery sessions with prospects to understand their compliance workflows, technical architecture, and integration requirements
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and proof‑of‑concepts that showcase how Dotfile solves specific customer challenges
- Design and present technical solutions and integration architectures tailored to each prospect’s unique environment
- Create technical proposals, solution documentation, and integration plans for prospective customers
- Respond to technical questions in RFPs and security questionnaires
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customer accounts during and after onboarding
- Manage the technical aspects of customer onboarding, including solution integration, configuration, and deployment
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and long‑term success with the platform
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Continually evaluate customer usage of our solutions, identifying opportunities for optimization and expansion
- Collaborate closely with the Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer requirements and influence product roadmap
- Stay current on compliance regulations, industry trends, and competitive landscape to position Dotfile effectively
- Contribute to the development of technical collateral, best practices documentation, training materials, and internal knowledge base
About You
- 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Consulting, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success Engineering, or similar technical customer‑facing role, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or RegTech
- Strong technical skills with deep understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication protocols, and modern integration patterns
- Experience designing technical architectures and communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Excellent presentation, demonstration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences
- A consultative approach and the ability to quickly understand customer business challenges and translate them into technical requirements
- Experience managing technical onboarding projects and driving issue resolution end‑to‑end
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and managing multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively to design innovative solutions
- Experience with RegTech or financial services technology (nice to have)
- Fluent in English and French
