About the Role

Alongside an experienced and supportive campaign marketing team, this role is instrumental in ideating, planning, coordinating, activating, and reporting on paid campaigns that generate demand for Dotdigital’s products and services.

This role requires a strong focus on B2B pay-per-click channels including search, display, and social ads. Using paid campaigns this role aims to achieve objectives spanning the awareness, consideration, and conversion tiers of the marketing funnel; including the orchestration of automated nurture programs that drive acquired leads toward sales qualification. This role is responsible from continually optimizing campaigns with an eye on the cost of customer acquisition, with the aim of delivering strong ROI.

Day-to-day in this role you’ll:

  • Report to the Senior Campaign Marketing Manager, based in London.
  • Plan, implement, and optimize PPC campaigns on platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and other platforms.
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness and make recommendations to improve performance.
  • Manage campaign audiences, lifetime/daily budgets, keyword lists, and bid strategies.
  • Proactively report results including: CPC, CTR, Conv. rate, CPA, and ROAS.
  • Proactively optimize campaigns with the aim of achieving efficient customer acquisition costs.
  • Run A/B tests and conversion rate optimization programs.
  • Draft comprehensive creative briefs to hand to copywriters and designers.
  • Navigate and understand data-flows from lead gen forms through to the sales CRM system.
  • Support the wider Campaigns Team in activating initiatives and cross-channel campaigns spanning email, web, PPC, organic online and offline channels.

About You

Your existing experience will include:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in marketing communications or a similar field.
  • 3-5 years experience in B2B marketing with practical PPC marketing.
  • Experience running search, social and display ads across multiple geographic markets.
  • A track record for data-informed demand generation and conversion rate optimization.
  • The ability to demonstrate end-to-end marketing campaign development and management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of pay-per-click marketing.
  • Solid understanding of other channels including: email marketing, SMS marketing, social media marketing, and landing pages.

How you’ll stand out: You’ll be able to demonstrate deep direct familiarity with native and programmatic advertising platforms. You’ll be fluent in understanding PPC metrics like: CPC, CPL, CPA, and ROAS. You’ll have proven examples of CRO activity including A/B testing that drove improved lead generation results. You’ll be comfortable with generating and displaying data visualizations for engaging reports using tools like Google Data Studio or equivalent. You’ll have experience using marketing automation platforms (experience with Dotdigital is a plus, but not required) to nurture leads across email and retargeting activations. And you’ll frame your past experience with clear measurable results.
