This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, advisory-led accountancy and business advisory firm with a strong reputation across the North West. The firm has continued to invest heavily in its Tax offering and is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Advisory Manager to support the next stage of growth within its advisory team. This is not a compliance-heavy position. Instead, the focus is on delivering high-quality advisory work to a broad portfolio of owner-managed businesses, corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals. The role offers exposure to complex planning projects, direct client interaction and genuine opportunities to progress within a highly commercial environment.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will manage a varied portfolio of advisory projects while acting as a trusted adviser to clients.

Responsibilities
  • Advising clients on corporate tax planning matters
  • Supporting on restructures, reorganisations and transactions
  • Assisting with succession planning and exit strategies
  • Advising on shareholder planning and profit extraction strategies
  • Supporting clients through acquisitions, disposals and due diligence projects
  • Building and maintaining long‑term client relationships
  • Working alongside senior managers and directors on complex advisory assignments
  • Identifying opportunities to add value and support wider business growth
  • Supporting and developing junior members of the tax team

This role offers a broad range of advisory exposure rather than focusing purely on compliance work.

Candidate
  • CTA, ACA, ACCA or ATT qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience within Corporate Tax gained in accountancy practice
  • Previous exposure to advisory-led tax work
  • Experience supporting clients on complex planning projects
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
  • A genuine interest in developing long‑term client relationships
