Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking to join a well-established business where you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function? We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to take ownership of the company's financial administration, ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining strong controls and supporting the wider business with day-to-day finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions.
- Completing daily bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Chasing outstanding payments and carrying out credit control activities.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrity.
- Assisting with month-end processes, including journals and reconciliations.
- Preparing financial information for external accountants.
- Processing employee expenses and other financial transactions.
- Supporting cash flow monitoring and reporting.
- Assisting with VAT returns where required.
- Providing general bookkeeping and finance administration support.
About You
- Previous experience in a Bookkeeper or similar finance position.
- Strong working knowledge of Xero is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to your work.
- Able to manage your workload independently while meeting deadlines.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build positive working relationships.
