A well-established household name in consumer products is looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional looking to develop within a fast-paced commercial environment, supporting month-end processes, reporting, and day-to-day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Management Accountant & Finance Director with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assisting with accruals and prepayments
- Supporting balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with VAT returns and compliance processes
- Supporting lender reporting requirements
- Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting the wider finance team with ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- Supporting general office and administrative duties where required
About You:
- Studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Previous experience within an accounts or finance role
- Understanding of month-end processes
- Strong Excel skills
- ERP system exposure would be advantageous
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Able to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
