Based in the heart of Liverpool City Centre, this is an exciting time as this business continues to grow. This firm is looking to appoint an Audit Assistant Manager. An independent firm with an enviable and wide-ranging portfolio of clients with an excellent reputation for delivering a high-quality service.
Reporting to the Senior Audit Managers and Audit Managers, the Audit Assistant Manager will:
- Assist and deliver high quality audit and accounts work on client engagements
- Develop effective relationships with clients and their staff, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction is delivered at all times
- Manage reporting requirements and expectations/deadlines with the clients
- Work on the complex and significant risk areas of the audit and prioritise accordingly
- Undertake day to day management of the field team whilst on assignment, ensuring timely and effective delivery to the required standard
Ideal candidates should possess the following attributes/experience:
- Knowledge and experience of the audit process gained in a similar practice environment
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or close to achieving the qualification)
- Experience of using Audit systems and CCH (not essential)
- Competent MS Office skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with accuracy
