Compliance Work
- Preparation and filing of year end accounts, business tax and capital allowances for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders within their own pool and wider portfolio of clients.
- Preparation and filing of Self Assessments and personal tax computations returns within portfolio and wider portfolio of clients.
- Preparation and filing of Capital Gains Tax computations within their own pool and wider portfolio of clients.
- Assistance with implementation of R&D Tax claims into the accounts and tax returns of Limited companies.
- To adhere to the business target dates and deliver all compliance work within 8-10 weeks after the period end.
- Reducing the burden of taxation on the business and their owners with good tax planning and advice.
- To perform the review of all year end assignments, tax computations including business and personal along with tax returns prior to review by manager/Director.
- Has to be an individual whom is technical, commercial and can assist the practice with quality control and ensuring all work is in line with technical changes from an Accounts production (eg FRS102) and tax legislation perspective.
Outsourcing & Advisory Work
- To manage a portfolio of your own clients for all bookkeeping, VAT and Management account services within own portfolio.
- To review the periodic bookkeeping, VAT returns and Management accounts produced for portfolio clients and to ensure all are accurate prior to manager review.
- To ensure client documents are received in time for completion of work, adhering to all deadlines.
- To ensure all client documents are returned to the client once work has been completed.
- Provide support on Payroll services for the wider client base.
- Preparation, review and filing of P11d returns.
- Preparation of periodic Management Accounts for clients within the portfolio and wider portfolio.
- Preparation of Management Information and performance analysis.
- To adhere to the business target dates and deliver Management Information to the clients between 10-20 working days after the period end.
- Advising on the improvement of profitability and business efficiency through continuous monitoring and by implementing effective business controls and re-systemising the client businesses.
- Helping to control and manage the cash flow of the client businesses and utilising appropriate software.
- To review all Management accounts returns prior to final manager/director reviews.
- Preparation of integrated financial projections and budgets incorporating profit & loss, Balance sheet and cash flow.
- Preparation of Break Even Analysis.
- Preparing business plans and helping source and negotiate the raising of finance.
- Conducting business valuations.
- Deal with financial institutions such as Banks, Factoring companies and other providers of finance on behalf of clients.
