A highly regarded, tech-forward accountancy firm in the Yorkshire and North East region is looking for an Accounts & Business Advisory Senior Associate to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory accounts using a range of cloud-based software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
- Draft corporation tax computations and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with managers on client queries and project work
- Review the work of junior team members and support their development
- Respond to ad-hoc client queries and build strong relationships
- Assist in the onboarding and buddying of new colleagues
- Travel to client sites across the region as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- ACA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified (or AAT Level 3/4 with relevant experience)
- Experience in a UK accountancy practice (general practice or audit)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using cloud-based accounting tools and Excel
- Organised, proactive, and client-focused
