As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services to a wide range of owner-managed businesses, sole traders and SMEs. From preparing year-end accounts or management accounts, to supporting trainees and maintaining client relationships – no two days are the same.

You will work closely with Team Leaders and Directors to ensure deadlines are met, queries are dealt with proactively, and clients feel supported and in safe hands.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
  • Preparing corporate tax computations and liaising with our tax team where needed
  • Taking responsibility for jobs from planning through to completion
  • Supporting and reviewing the work of trainees and juniors
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • 3–4+ years in an accountancy practice environment
  • Actively studying towards ACCA or ACA (ideally a few exams away from qualifying)
  • Solid experience preparing accounts and working directly with clients
  • A good understanding of accounting and tax principles
  • Comfortable using accounting software (we use Xero, Sage, and Iris)
  • Great attention to detail and time management skills
  • Friendly, can-do attitude
