Dot Partners are supporting a well-established and growing accountancy practice who are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Accounts Executive / Accounts Manager. This is a varied and client-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys technical accounting work alongside building trusted client relationships and supporting junior team members. The Role

  • You will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality delivery across accounts preparation, VAT, and management reporting.
  • Managing an allocated client portfolio and meeting reporting deadlines.
  • Reviewing working papers, financial statements and planning documentation.
  • Reviewing VAT returns and tax computations.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and internal procedures.
  • Acting as main point of contact for your clients.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
  • Identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Attending client meetings alongside senior team members where required.

About You

  • AAT qualified.
  • Strong background in accountancy practice.
  • Solid technical knowledge of UK GAAP and statutory accounts.
  • Confident using Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills and proactive client approach.
  • Organised, deadline-driven, and collaborative.

Package

£38,000 – £45,000 per annum. ASAP start available.
