Reporting directly to the owners and board of directors, this is a key position within the business, offering the opportunity to influence decision-making and contribute to the company's continued growth and profitability.
Managing an Accounts Assistant, you'll oversee the day-to-day finance operation whilst providing accurate financial reporting, commercial insight and strategic support to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full responsibility for the finance function
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Leading month-end and year-end processes
- Presenting monthly financial results and profitability analysis to the owners and board
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cashflow management and reporting
- VAT returns and compliance
- Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control
- Managing customer and supplier invoicing through Oracle NetSuite
- Creating and monitoring departmental cost centres
