A high-growth, advisory-led accountancy firm is looking to appoint an experienced Audit Manager / Senior Audit Manager to take ownership of a significant portfolio and play a key role in the continued expansion of the audit function. This is a standout opportunity for an established Manager who wants more than just “running jobs” — you’ll be influencing audit quality, leading teams, and working closely with senior leadership on the direction of the department.
The Role
You’ll operate as a senior leader within the audit team, managing complex client relationships and driving both technical and commercial performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing a high-value audit portfolio (including complex groups and regulated entities)
- Leading audits from planning through to completion and review
- Ensuring compliance with ISAs (UK), FRS 102, IFRS and Companies Act standards
- Acting as the key point of contact for clients, delivering a proactive, advisory-led service
- Reviewing work and ensuring files are RI-ready
- Supporting audit quality, including involvement in internal quality processes (ISQM1)
- Leading, mentoring and developing Managers and Assistant Managers
- Supporting Partners with growth, strategy and client development
What They’re Looking For
- ACA / ACCA qualified
- Proven experience at Audit Manager or Senior Manager level
- Strong technical knowledge and experience
