Salary – £35,000 FTE

Working hours – Full-time or Part Time (30 hours across 4 or 5 days)

Location – PRESTON. Hybrid, 1-2 days from home

Job type – 6 to 12 month maternity cover contract

Your new company:

You’ll be joining a specialist environmental services business who are part of a larger group and offers a stable, practical environment where finance has good visibility across the business.

This role is to cover the current Accounts Manager during maternity leave. You’ll work closely with her during the handover period and with the Finance Director throughout the contract.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Preparing accounts up to trial balance and sending information to the Finance Director.
  • Completing VAT returns and CIS returns.
  • Supporting weekly payroll for around 12 people.
  • Supporting monthly payroll activity and sending payroll reports to the external provider.
  • Preparing accruals and prepayments.
  • Overseeing accounts payable.
