An ambitious manufacturing business in Morecambe has recently been acquired and is on a mission to triple turnover to £30m in the coming years. They're investing heavily in people, processes, and innovation to become a major player in their field - and this is your chance to be part of that journey.

We're looking for a reliable, proactive Accounts Assitant to join their team. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping the financial admin running smoothly, supporting decision-making as we scale, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing phone calls, emails, post and supplier queries
  • Handling day-to-day bookkeeping, AR/AP inputting and reporting
  • Matching purchase orders, deliveries and invoices accurately
  • Reconciling bank transactions and assisting with credit control
  • Generating VAT returns and supporting intercompany transactions
  • Liaising closely with sales admin and production teams to keep things moving
  • Keeping records and databases accurate and up to date

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in accounts admin, accounts assistant or similar
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Confident with MS Office and ideally some exposure to Xero
  • A problem solver with great communication skills – someone who spots issues early and fixes them fast
  • Discreet, trustworthy and comfortable handling confidential data

What’s on offer:

  • Up to £30,000 per annum
  • Hybrid working (after induction)
  • Bonus scheme
  • Study Support
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 25 days + BH
  • The chance to grow with us as we scale to £30m turnover - they'll invest in your development if you invest in them

This is a great chance to join a business on an ambitious growth curve, where your contribution will matter from day one.
