As a
Senior Accountant , you'll become a trusted adviser to a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, working closely with Managers and Directors to deliver high-quality accounting and business advice.

The Role
Working as part of an experienced Accounts team, you'll manage your own portfolio while supporting the wider business in delivering an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities will include
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
- Preparing corporation tax computations and personal tax liabilities
- Advising clients on accounting processes and identifying efficiencies
- Building long-term relationships with owner-managed businesses
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients
- Supporting Managers and Directors with advisory projects
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across Tax, Audit and Advisory teams
- Identifying opportunities to add value and introduce additional services
- Coaching, mentoring and developing Accounts Trainees
- Delivering an exceptional client experience through proactive advice and communication
- The Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have
- ACA or ACCA qualification
- Previous experience within UK accountancy practice
- Experience working with owner-managed businesses
- Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounts and corporation tax
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A commercial mindset and passion for helping clients succeed
- Good working knowledge of cloud accounting software (CCH experience beneficial)
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
