About Dose of Society

Dose of Society is a human-first storytelling company backed by Snapchat, reaching 6M+ followers and delivering 10B+ annual views across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Snapchat (16+ shows). We create culturally impactful original content, street interviews, and narrative-driven social IP — and we’re expanding into new channels, creators, and social revenue streams.

We’re now hiring a Social Media Lead to own this growth.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a senior, strategic, data-driven Social Media Lead to run the Dose of Society social ecosystem. This is not a posting/admin role — you will lead growth strategy, manage content quality, guide creators, launch new sub-channels, and turn social into a scaled revenue driver.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute social strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts & Facebook
  • Launch new verticals/sub-channels as part of our expansion
  • Build a weekly editorial plan informed by trends, culture, and data
  • Identify opportunities for virality, shareability & cross-platform growth
  • Content Direction & Quality Control
  • Review & filter daily content from presenters + production
  • Shape narrative, hooks, pacing, and “Dose tone”
  • Develop creative briefs for presenters and production teams
  • Maintain a consistent weekly flow of publish-ready content
  • Manage street presenters, social assistants & editors
  • Provide feedback, coaching, and performance structure
  • Improve workflows and help build a scalable social team
  • Data, Insights, & Reporting
  • Produce weekly performance reports
  • Track retention, completion, engagement, and posting optimisation
  • Implement ongoing experiments to increase reach and performance
  • Social Revenue & Monetisation
  • Own revenue strategies across: TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts
  • Support with Licensing / Repurposing
  • Ensure social output aligns with commercial opportunities
  • Collaborate with Partnerships Team on social-led brand moments & commercial process
  • Community & Engagement
  • Help build community across comments, messages, newsletter funnel
  • Support growth of Dose’s owned audience channels (email, IRL)
  • Drive engagement through thoughtful community-focused content

Who You Are

  • 6+ years in social media, content strategy, publishing or creator-driven media
  • Proven ability to scale TikTok/IG channels (ideally to 500K+)
  • Experience managing creators, presenters, or content teams
  • Strong understanding of narrative structure & virality
  • Deep cultural awareness (Gen Z behaviour, internet culture, trend cycles)
  • Comfortable operating in a fast, ambitious, start-up environment
  • Strong organisational & project management skills
  • A passion for human-first storytelling

The Ideal Person

  • You are a natural storyteller who thinks in hooks
  • Both creative & analytical
  • Excited by ambiguity and building from scratch
  • A leader who can set standards and develop talent
  • Someone who truly cares about culture and real human stories

Working Environment & Expectations

Dose of Society operates like a true start-up — fast, ever-evolving, and sometimes chaotic. You’ll need to thrive in pace, ambiguity, and building structure where it doesn’t yet exist. This is also where the magic happens: you’ll shape how Social at Dose operates, influence big creative decisions, and move at a speed most companies can’t. You’ll sit at the heart of building something with real cultural impact — leading the voice, tone, and growth of a brand millions already engage with. You’ll work closely with production, presenters, commercial partnerships, and leadership to ensure our output is culturally relevant, high-performing, and aligned with our long-term vision.
