Dorsett Hospitality International has opened Dorsett Canary Wharf, located in the heart of Canary Wharf, London, a key district within London's global financial, media, and business hub. As part of our continued development, we recently launched Canary House, our exceptional Chinese restaurant. The restaurant offers high-quality English breakfast and authentic Chinese cuisine, alongside warm and attentive service, delivering a memorable dining experience for both hotel guests and local visitors. Following the successful opening, we are now looking for enthusiastic and service-driven individuals to join our Food & Beverage team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing outlet within a professional hotel environment and contribute to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily breakfast service and lead a small breakfast team, ensuring smooth operations and a high standard of guest experience.
- Ensure all service standards, hygiene, and food safety procedures are maintained in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Lead, motivate, and support the Food & Beverage team during service, ensuring efficient teamwork and excellent customer service.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of catering services for meetings and events, supporting the wider F&B operation when required.
- Communicate service updates to the team, ensuring associates are fully informed of operational procedures and SOPs.
- Monitor stock levels and equipment, assisting with stock control and minimising wastage.
- Work closely with the Kitchen team to ensure buffet items are prepared and replenished promptly, maintaining fresh food availability while managing wastage.
- Handle guest enquiries and feedback professionally, resolving issues promptly and sharing feedback from guests and team members to support continuous improvement and service excellence.
- Support management with operational reporting.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory role, preferably within a hotel or high-volume restaurant environment.
- Experience in breakfast service and buffet operations would be highly advantageous.
- Able to work independently and maintain high service standards without direct supervision.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a small team during busy service periods.
- A guest-focused mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and service procedures.
- Flexible and reliable, with the ability to support meetings, events, and other F&B operations when required.
Work Hour and Schedule
Work on a scheduled shift rota, including availability on weekends and public holidays.

The hotel will accommodate front-of-house facilities including a restaurant, a gym and conference facility at the lower levels and a sky bar/terrace on level 25.
