Spicers has been an industry leader in crafting specialty teas for over 80 years. Founded in 1934 in Bournemouth, Keith Spicer started blending teas from his family home, and today the company operates from a state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Newcastle and its head office in Dorset. Spicers produces black, green, and specialty teas as well as fruit and herbal infusions, supplying bespoke blends and private label solutions to major UK supermarkets, retailers, and wholesalers. Committed to sustainability, the company works with organic and Fairtrade farmers to deliver premium quality teas across the UK and internationally.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to represent and promote our fantastic portfolio of brand. In this full-time hybrid role based in Bournemouth, you will engage with customers, enhance brand awareness, and support marketing activities both in-person and digitally. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong client relationships, organizing promotional events, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring Spicers' brand values and products are represented positively. A mix of onsite and remote work is available as part of this exciting role.

Qualifications

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities
  • Experience and enthusiasm for Brand Ambassadorship and increasing Brand Awareness
  • Customer Service background with a passion for delivering high-quality experiences
  • Ability to represent the company in a positive and professional manner
  • Self-motivated, organised, resilient and able to work collaboratively and independently
  • Willingness to travel locally as needed for events or client meetings

Skills & Experience:

  • Desirable (not essential); 2–4+ years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in FMCG, beverages, or ethical consumer products.
  • Demonstrated success in securing new business and growing key accounts.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Confident and credible communicator, able to engage stakeholders across multiple levels and build lasting customer relationships.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset, resilience, and a solutions-driven approach.
  • Genuine passion for growing brands, with a curious mindset and a willingness to learn.

This is a hybrid role, split between HQ in Dorset (regular presence required for team collaboration and planning). Field-based work across the Dorset / South West region with occasional national travel.
