Hours per week: this role is 37 hours per week. However, we welcome applications from individuals wishing to work on a part-time basis and we are willing to consider flexible working patterns subject to business need.
About the role:
- The day-to-day supervision and management of staff and processes involved in all prosecution file submissions.
- To review, supervise and accept responsibility for the content and preparation of all pre-charge and prosecution files.
- To liaise with the Crown Prosecution Service and HMCTS in matters pertaining to file content and presentation.
- To supervise and administer other associated issues.
- Responsibility for ensuring staff follow processes when updating, tracking and movement of files within CJU and when submitting to partner agencies.
- To ensure standards of preparation and submission of associated files and other paperwork is in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies, and directives.
