ESR Administrator

ESR Administrator

Full-Time On-site
Dorset Healthcare

We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated ESR Administrator to join our team during an exciting period of growth, innovation and preparation for the future workforce solution.

We are dedicated to enhancing and expanding the ESR system and services we provide to all staff at Dorset HealthCare University Foundation Trust. As the primary workforce management system used across the NHS, ESR plays a pivotal role in our operations.

By joining our team, you will contribute to driving positive change within the trust, helping us deliver improved services and support to all employees.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with ESR. As an ESR Administrator you will provide essential support to our staff by managing access and training needs via the service desk, maintaining, reporting, and reviewing accounts, roles, work structure's and data quality within ESR.

Please note visa sponsorship for this role is unfortunately not available. Ensure you hold valid right to work in the UK and will not require sponsorship if successful.

You will play a key role in delivering and maintaining Manager, Administrator, Supervisor and Employee Self-Service. Optimising existing system functionalities, and implementing new features and functionality across various departments and teams.

The role of ESR Administrator will include providing training needs and ongoing support to all staff and their use of Self-Service, and working cooperatively and maintaining close working relationships with our other trusts departments, particularly HR, Payroll, Finance and Rostering.

It is essential that you have excellent IT Skills, including Microsoft Office, Teams and Outlook. Previous experience of ESR and Self-Service is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. You must be methodical, organised, and work to a high standard with a flexible approach and understanding of the need to respond/deliver work across a diverse area within tight timescales.

The role is based at our Dorset HealthCare HQ site in Poole and a weekly presence is required on site. There may also be the need for occasional travel to our other sites around Dorset. The post holder may be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

At Dorset HealthCare we're on a mission to empower people to make the most of their lives through our outstanding, joined-up healthcare services. We're a dynamic, forward-looking Trust, running 12 community hospitals, specialist inpatient facilities and a wide range of integrated community and mental health services for a population of almost 800,000 people.

We do things differently here - it's one of the reasons the CQC rated us 'outstanding' in 2019. It's also why 95% of patients across our services say they have a good or very good experience of our services and 89% of staff feel they can really make a difference. Whether you're looking to work with us in one of our bustling market towns, vibrant urban locations, thriving seaside spots, or among the rolling hills of Dorset, there are lots of ways you can make a difference in our communities.

Our 7,000-strong workforce is at the heart of what we do and our success is a testament to our brilliant people. We're all about building a workplace for the future, we believe in equal opportunities and we celebrate diversity. We're an inclusive workplace, where everyone is welcome, everyone can be authentic, and we are all encouraged to be the best version of ourselves.

Working with us you'll be part of a strong team, challenge yourself, build a career, and teach us what we don't know. And you'll be working towards our vision to create healthier lives, empowered citizens and thriving communities.
