Portland Community Hospital is recruiting a Physiotherapist to join a small team located in Portland, Dorset.

About the role

As a physiotherapist at Portland Community Hospital you will work autonomously to provide skilled assessment and treatment/management for a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, including complex needs. Referrals are received from GP, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, MIU/A+E, self‑referral and other NHS colleagues. When appropriate onward referral to other services may be required.

You will support the development of students and other colleagues, acting as a student educator and participating in in‑house training.

You will assist the Team Lead in managing the Physiotherapy Service, including triage and service development.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required; the Trust covers the cost.
• Applicants requiring Skilled Worker sponsorship are ineligible to apply.
