Through our renewables division, we specialise in the design and installation of solar PV systems, battery storage, and EV charging solutions across domestic and commercial sectors. We are looking for an experienced Solar PV & Battery Storage Electrician to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality installations. You will be responsible for:
- Installation and commissioning of solar PV systems and battery storage solutions
- Electrical installation of inverters, isolators, generation meters, and associated systems
- Working alongside roofing teams on residential and commercial projects
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and remedial works on existing systems
- Ensuring all installations comply with current regulations and MCS standards
- Completing all relevant certification and documentation accurately
- Maintaining high levels of health & safety on site
Requirements
- Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience installing solar PV and battery storage systems
- Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) preferred
- Familiarity with leading manufacturers (e.g. Goodwe, Sunsynk, Tesla, Solax, FoxESS)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong work ethic with a “can-do” attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential)
- MCS accreditation experience
- Experience with commercial-scale installations
- EV charger installation experience
