The predicted salary is between 18000 - 24000 £ per year.

Join our 'THRIVE' Team. We are looking to appoint an experienced, motivated and resourceful teaching assistant 30 hrs per week, Term Time only, 39 weeks per year on a fixed term appointment to join our established and dedicated team, who have a passion for and commitment to supporting children with their learning and emotional wellbeing.

You will be supporting children with their emotional needs so they can access the curriculum and become effective learners. You will be working as part of a small team, alternating between supporting children in the THRIVE Base and also, in their respective classrooms.

Candidates will need to have a calm and positive demeanour, be able to build excellent relationships with children, staff and families and demonstrate a sound understanding of how children develop, both emotionally and intellectually.

It is desirable to have trained as an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA), be Thrive trained or have an understanding of working with children with ASD.
