Teaching Assistant (Fixed Term until 22/07/2026, Maternity Cover)

Pay Grade Dorset Grade 5, Point 5-6 FTE (£25,583 to £25,989)

Actual Pro Rata Pay (£10,915 to £11,088, Hourly rate of £13.26 to £13.47)

The vacancy is a term time position, working 18.75 Hrs Per Week, 38 weeks per year (Monday – Wednesday 8:30am to 3:15pm including a half an hour lunch duty).

Radipole Primary School would like to appoint a teaching assistant to join our friendly and talented team on a fixed term basis to cover an existing staff member\’s maternity leave, working within KS1 commencing from November 2025.

A vacancy has arisen for us to recruit an enthusiastic, caring and adaptable teaching assistant. We are dedicated to supporting the development of our children’s emotional wellbeing, their speech and language and their social skills – we want to make sure every child in our care exceeds every expectation. There will be a requirement within this role to work with children on a 1:1 basis.
