We are currently recruiting to expand our staff team across all areas of the school and college. We are seeking an enthusiastic Midday Supervisor based at our Wimborne (College) or Colehill (School) sites with a positive attitude. This position is on a term-time basis, starting in September 2025.
The role includes ensuring the safety, welfare, and conduct of pupils during lunch, as well as cleaning and other duties in and around the classroom and hall between 11:50 am and 1:35 pm, five days a week. You will join one of our departments, allowing you to build strong relationships with pupils and staff. This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience in our school, especially if you're considering a future as a Teaching Assistant. Many of our midday supervisors work additional hours supporting teachers and TAs outside of lunchtime.
Ideally, you will have experience and confidence in supporting young people with SEND, including those with complex needs.
We offer ongoing CPD support, including Dorset Therapeutic Thinking (TADSS), a wellbeing package linked to Schools UK and Dorset Council, and a supportive environment where all can thrive and staff are highly valued.
Beaucroft is a Foundation Special School for children and young people aged 4 to 19 with learning difficulties, including complex needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our pupils have diverse needs, and we are committed to providing the best possible education, combining the National Curriculum with a personalized, practical, community-based approach in a friendly, caring environment.
