You’ll be joining a team that makes a real difference to people’s lives, helping to prevent homelessness and support those in housing crisis. This is a varied and rewarding role where your work will have visible, meaningful impact. You’ll develop specialist knowledge, build strong relationships across agencies, and be supported through regular supervision, training, and development opportunities.
What You Will Be Doing
You’ll be the first point of contact for customers and partner agencies, providing clear, accurate advice and managing a caseload of people at risk of homelessness.
You’ll offer tailored support, help people stay in their homes or find sustainable alternatives, and carry out homelessness assessments in line with the law. You\’ll negotiate with landlords, liaise with support services, and refer to partner agencies to overcome barriers such as debt, employment issues or access to benefits. You’ll also keep detailed records, promote multi-agency working, and help clients explore low-cost home ownership options where appropriate.
