General Tutor at Skills and Learning - Adult Community Education (ACE)

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic General Tutor to deliver both accredited and non-accredited courses to adults in the BCP and Dorset Council areas. The tutor will support learners in developing:

1. Effective communication skills
2. Digital literacy
3. Critical thinking skills
4. Resilience
5. Organising and time management skills

These skills will be developed through courses or programmes that also focus on employability, cookery, childcare, local general interest/conservation, or IT skills.

The areas where we deliver these courses include:

• Weymouth
• Swanage
• North Dorset

Additional locations across Dorset are also served. Hours, locations, and subject areas are negotiable. We are open to hiring either a salaried part-time tutor or a variable hours tutor.
