Baden-Powell & St. Peter’s CE Junior School are seeking to appoint to a number Teaching Assistant posts. We have a variety of flexible hours to offer potential candidates ranging from 32.5 to 10 hours per week, to be discussed at interview. The successful candidates may work within a whole class, with small groups of children or on a 1:1 basis.
We are looking for candidates who have the ability to motivate and encourage children; who are enthusiastic, responsible and enjoy working with children. They should have good inter-personal skills and a desire to support children to progress with their learning, promote high standards of behaviour and believe that all children can succeed. The post holders must have English and Maths GCSE grade C or above and an NVQ level 2 qualification for teaching assistants or equivalent.
