Qualifications
- NMC Registered Nurse [RMN/RGN]
- Degree in nursing studies or equivalent nursing qualification
- Evidence of continual professional development
- Completion of UKONS SACT passport and evidence of SACT competency
- advanced communication skills
- psychological skills level 2
Knowledge and experience
- Demonstrable Oncology experience in acute or specialist care
- Experience working in an MDT
- Post reg experience at a senior level
- experience with SACT /radiotherapy treatments
- teaching experience
Technical Skills and competences
- IT Literacy using a range of current and relevant packages
- Ability to manage complex case loads and work independently
- Ability to manage difficult conversations
Personal Attributes
- Highly motivated
- Flexible to the needs of the service
- Proven evidence of good organisational skills
