Detailed job description and main responsibilities:
The Post is based at Royal Bournemouth Hospital with a few sessions on the Poole Hospital site. This is a full time post attracting 10 PAs. It will contain 3 breast clinics plus some fixed and some flexible operating lists, as well as attendance at the Breast MDT and appropriate administrative time. The post will have appropriate secretarial support and office space within the department. There is no on-call commitment.

- Essential criteria: Full GMC registration, FRCS or equivalent
- Desirable criteria: MD/MS or equivalent, Member of relevant Specialist Society
- Experience
- Essential criteria: Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCST in Breast Surgery at Specialist Registrar level, Ability to offer expert clinical opinion within all aspects of Breast Disease & Management, Validated training logbook of index breast procedures, Ability to demonstrate competence in index breast interventions
- Desirable criteria: Oncoplastic fellowship, Appropriate specialist skills to undertake breast reconstructive surgery, Experience in performing reduction/therapeutic mammoplasty, Familiarity with recruitment into national breast clinical trials, Experience in breast ultrasound
