- Essential criteria: Broad clinical knowledge of research speciality, Research knowledge of ICH GCP
- Desirable criteria: Awareness of relevant national clinical or research guidelines and service frameworks, Understanding of research processes
- Essential criteria: Experience caring for patients in a primary or secondary care setting, Experience working within clinical research
- Desirable criteria: Participation in clinical audit and evaluation, Relevant experience working within the speciality area
- Essential criteria: Registered with the NMC (or relevant professional body), Willing to undertake GCP within 1 month of being in post
