- Experience planning, delivering, observing, assessing and tracking children’s development

- Understanding of inclusion, safeguarding and responsive care

- Ability to support and develop children’s learning across all areas of the EYFS
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with children, parents and colleagues
- Ability to plan, assess and create a safe, engaging and stimulating environment
- Good organisational and record‑keeping skills
Desirable experience and skills
- Experience working in a nursery school or school‑based setting
- Knowledge of early identification of SEND
- Training in SEN, inclusion or trauma‑informed practice
