We are looking for a Group & Events Sales Executive who is passionate about delivering outstanding experiences and thrives in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.

What you’ll be responsible for
- Act as the first point of contact for meetings, events, group and wedding enquiries
- Proactively generate business through platforms such as CVENT, Venue Directory, Hitched & Bridebook
- Build strong local relationships through networking, events and partnerships
- Create tailored proposals that align with client needs and maximise conversion
- Deliver engaging site visits and show rounds that bring the hotel experience to life
- Plan and coordinate events, ensuring seamless delivery with operational teams
- Manage weddings and special events with precision and care
- Produce accurate event documentation including BEOs, contracts and function sheets
- Maximise revenue through upselling and cross-selling across the Marine & Lawn portfolio
- Maintain accurate systems, client records, and reporting
- Conduct post-event follow-ups to drive repeat and referral business
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in hotel events, groups or weddings
- Strong commercial awareness and experience with sales platforms
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, proactive mindset with a passion for continuous development
