Electrician (m/w/d) – Wind Farm Projects

This role involves extensive travel to onshore wind farms across the UK.

What you can achieve with us:

  • You are responsible for the installation of electrical systems and components in line with project specifications
  • You support the electrical installation, testing, and commissioning of infrastructure associated with large-scale renewable energy systems
  • Cable routing, containment, and terminations for energy and infrastructure systems are also part of your tasks
  • You perform electrical testing, troubleshoot faults, and support commissioning
  • You work from schematic drawings, installation manuals, and electrical layouts
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and on-site protocols is also an aspect of your role
  • You complete work reports, risk assessments, and checklists accurately
  • You support other electrical trades and collaborate effectively on-site

What convinces us:

  • You have the following qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services or an equivalent recognized UK qualification and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (BS 7671)
  • You possess a valid CSCS Card appropriate for the role
  • You hold a GWO Basic Safety Training certification (including Working at Height, Fire Awareness, First Aid, and Manual Handling) and have a strong focus on safety and quality in your working environment
  • You have at least 3 years of site-based electrical installation experience, are able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schedules and have experience in high-voltage or balance-of-plant installation
  • The possession of the ECS Gold Card is desirable
  • You have previous experience in the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors
  • You hold a valid UK or EU driving license
  • You are proficient in English
