At Dornan we are recruiting an Engineer to join our Phama project in Surrey.
Responsibilities
- Preparing method statements and risk assessments with the construction team for production activities.
- Preparing reports and front‑end studies including capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take‑off and tender schedules.
- Preparing technical and contract documentation for issue and analysing returned tenders.
- Keeping up to date the delivery schedule to control deliveries.
- Seeking to clarify queries with the Design team through the RFI system.
- Monitoring progress against the programme and issuing progress reports.
- Producing look‑ahead programmes to assist production.
- Carrying out quality control through inspections and snagging.
- Carrying out document control, recording and transmitting information.
- All other reasonable tasks assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
- Detailed knowledge of the engineering role.
- Commercial understanding.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental systems.
- Understanding of the team's strengths and weaknesses.
