The Role:
Join Dornan's Graduate Planner Programme to gain hands-on experience supporting the planning and project controls functions on major engineering and construction projects.
This Programme ensures that graduates gain exposure to all aspects of project planning within a live construction environment, working closely with planning, engineering and construction teams.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Using software such as Excel, Power BI and Bluebeam to support planning activities.
- Site walks to monitor project progress and become familiar with site operations.
- Supporting Openspace 360 camera surveys to capture weekly site progress.
- Supporting the setup of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Progress Measurement Systems (PMS).
- Completing material take-offs (MTOs) and updating Installation Work Packs (IWPs).

Who can apply:
