We are seeking a M&E Commissioning Manager to join our team in London. This is an opportunity to play a key role across multiple high-profile sites, leading the M&E commissioning and ensuring all systems are tested, validated, and delivered to the highest standards, helping drive project excellence through to successful project completion.

The Role
Reporting to the Project Director, the M&E Commissioning Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of commissioning activities, ensuring all systems are inspected, tested, and commissioned in line with project specifications and industry standards. You will be responsible for overseeing commissioning activities across the project, coordinating subcontractors and project teams to ensure systems are delivered fully operational and ready for handover to the client.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all mechanical commissioning activities to deliver fully tested and operational M&E systems to the client
- Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to support the successful delivery of building services systems
- Manage subcontractor testing and commissioning activities, including witnessing tests and reviewing documentation
- Identify commissioning requirements, including specialist test equipment and resources
- Support the preparation and review of Commissioning and Testing RAMS
- Carry out quality inspections during pre-commissioning and commissioning stages
- Coordinate commissioning activities with other trades to ensure efficient project delivery
- Resolve commissioning issues quickly and ensure all deficiencies are addressed in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate commissioning reports and documentation
- Ensure all personnel involved in commissioning activities meet required EHS training and safety standards

Previous experience communicating on the projects progress to key stakeholders, such as the project director, client, architects, engineers
Ability to prioritise workload
Recognises own strengths and weaknesses and committed to ongoing development
Acceptance of responsibility and accountability
Your Qualifications
Mechanically or Electrically Qualified
Strong knowledge of Cx practices
