At Dornan we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor for a site in London.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of various subcontractors, foremen and chargehands.
- Establish and adjust work timelines to meet the construction schedule for the project.
- Take responsibility for health and safety on site and lead by example.
- Organise workers, plant, machinery and materials.
- Supervise construction activities.
- Coordinate with all other crafts working on a job site to ensure smooth transitions.
- Identify materials and equipment that may be required.
- Ensure construction is carried out accurately, following plans and specifications.
- Conduct quality control inspections on project sites.
- Ensure that contractor activities are properly coordinated.
- Ensure that tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
- Analyse and quickly resolve any work problems that may arise and ensure that all deficiencies on any given project are corrected in a timely manner.
- Train employees and apprentices to provide them with relevant work experience.
- Maintain detailed and accurate site reports.
- All other reasonable tasks assigned to you from time to time by your manager.
