We are seeking a Lead QA/QC Engineer to join our team in London. This is an opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile site, leading all quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with stringent healthcare standards. You will be responsible for overseeing inspections, documentation, and quality processes, ensuring all works are delivered to the highest standards while driving excellence through to successful project completion.

The Role
As a Lead QA/QC Engineer you will, as part of a dedicated site quality and inspection team, be expected to co-ordinate the establishment and implementation of the Project quality plan, site inspection and test procedures of the subcontracted installation. The Lead QA/QC Engineer will be an exemplar ambassador for the company and its values; integrity, dependability, safety, pride, quality.
Working closely with the QA/QC Manager, your duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Familiarisation with the scope of each system, specification and installation, focusing particularly on pipe work installation and weld quality
- Familiarisation of the requirement of the Quality plan, the General Contractor quality plan and the client quality plan
- Implementation of the site inspection and test process as prioritised for each system
- Attend quality review meetings with the General Contractor and client as required
- Provide regular feedback to your line manager on the Quality process on site and issue improvement recommendations, in line with the weekly project reporting structure
- Generate and close out punch lists and generate quality statistics for tracking and monitoring purposes
- Co-ordinate with the client and subcontractors on the scheduling and prioritising of system walk downs
- All other reasonable tasks assigned to you from time to time from your manager
