Reporting to the Prefabrication Manager, this position is based in our London Office.

The Pre-Fabrication Detailing Lead will be responsible to produce manufacture drawings for offsite Assets including pump skids, Multistorey risers and Combined distribution modules.

As a senior member of the team, the Pre-Fabrication Detailing Lead will be an exemplar ambassador for the company and its values; integrity, dependability, safety, pride, quality.

Your day will include

  • Produce detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings for offsite modular construction.
  • Generate pipingisometrics based on P&IDs and relevant material specifications
  • . Design efficient plant room equipment layouts to optimise service routing
  • . Ensure all proposed designs comply with factory requirements, equipment specifications, logistics considerations, and final installation constraints

Issue completed 3D models to project teams forintegration into the federated model.

Review and interrogate designs to identify opportunities for installation efficiency and increased prefabrication.

  • Develop templates, Standards, Methods, and Procedures (SMPs) forprefabrication detailing to ensure consistent quality across all deliverables.
  • Manage the 3D content library and maintain models in linewith technical submittals.

Incorporate lessons learned and fabrication team feedback into updated SMPs.

Lead and support a team of detailers, allocating resources and ensuring all work aligns with defined SMPs

  • . Monitor workload peaks and coordinatewith third-party partners to ensure deliverables meet programme requirements.
  • Track worked hours per asset and compile weekly reports forall team members. Liaise with third‑party structural engineers to secure structural approval for issued drawings
  • Manage delivery schedules in alignment with the Contract Programme.
  • Develop and maintain theprefabrication programme in collaboration with the Prefab Manager.

Produce progress reports aligned with the prefabrication programme, highlighting risks, delays, and recommending mitigation measures.

  • Raise and clarify querieswith the design team through the Request for Information (RFI) process.

Prepare look‑ahead programmes to support production planning.

Conduct quality control inspections and snagging during prefabrication and upon delivery of components to site

  • Carry out document control activities, accurately recording and sharing information with the wider project team.

Produce all necessary engineering documentation to support the overall prefabrication strategy.

About You

  • Detailed knowledge of the Pre-Fabrication Detailing Lead role
  • Detailed knowledge of piping design and spooling requirements
  • Degree or Trade qualified in a Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or related HVAC Discipline
  • 8-10 Years' experience in a similar role
  • Advanced knowledge of 3D software including Autodesk Auto CAD, Revit and Fabrication MEP.
