Dornan Engineering Group is a leading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe, UK & Ireland. Based in Grangecastle, this is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Construction team supporting the delivery of our data centre project.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you will support the day-to-day administration of a busy data centre project site, ensuring documentation, records, and project communications are maintained accurately and efficiently. Your day will include:

  • Responsible for co-ordinating all project documentation; records must be maintained, kept up-to-date and archived correctly.
  • Collating timesheets and forwarding to payroll to process, following up on payroll queries.
  • Preparation of reports and memorandums.
  • Responsible for individual employee files/queries.
  • Site tracker needs to be done every day.
  • Greeting visitors and registering them on arrival.
  • Update REQ register every time a new req is raised.
  • Update the Outgoing Instruction register and drawing register and Tech Sub register whenever a tech sub is uploaded or when Client has commented on one.
  • Update RFI register when uploaded on conject or Client has answered a previous RFI.
  • Booking flights and accommodation.
  • Examine documents, such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
  • Ensure that all corporate documents are well checked and submitted on time prior to the documents submission due date.

About You:

  • Detailed knowledge of an Administration role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of computing system.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Document control and record management experience.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meeting coordination, minute taking and diary management.
  • Experience maintaining project trackers, registers and databases.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Professional and confidential approach to handling sensitive information.
