Dornan is recruiting a Commissioning Package Manager for a major hyperscale data centre project just outside of Dublin. We are a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor delivering complex projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Commissioning Package Manager will lead and coordinate all Electrical commissioning activities, managing subcontractors, direct labour, and communicating progress to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all commissioning documentation including procedures, checklists and reports.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of commissioning-related equipment.
  • Lead and support a team of commissioning engineers and technicians.
  • Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Identify and mitigate commissioning-related risks, including technical issues and scheduling impacts.
  • Oversee functional and performance testing to validate system functionality.

What We Are Looking For

  • Commissioning certification beneficial.
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office, BIM 360).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar management role.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E standards, codes, and commissioning methodologies.
  • Ability to produce detailed reports, documentation and handover materials.
