About the Role
At Dornan, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Group Procurement Manager to lead procurement, supply chain, facilities, and travel operations across a multi-site organisation. Based in our Head Office in Cork reporting to the Group Procurement Director, this is a key role focused on delivering commercial value, driving operational excellence, and ensuring strong governance and supplier performance.
Your day to day will include:
- Lead sourcing, negotiation, and appointment of subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers
- Drive cost efficiencies and continuous improvement across procurement activities
- Manage supplier lifecycle, including prequalification, onboarding, and performance management
- Oversee day-to-day procurement operations and support site-based teams
- Ensure effective procurement systems, workflows, and material tracking processes are in place
- Manage facilities, including offices, warehouses, leases, maintenance, and security
- Oversee company assets, fleet, accommodation, and project-related logistics
- Manage corporate travel, including supplier negotiation, approvals, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and mitigate supply chain risks
- Support ESG initiatives, including sustainable procurement and environmental reporting
- Lead and develop a high-performing, multi-location team
What we are looking for:
- 10 years + experience in a senior procurement/supply chain role
- Experience in construction or engineering environments is an advantage
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and supplier management skills
- Experience managing multi-site operations and complex supply chains
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
