Dornan are involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, Data Centre and Petrochemical.
Due to the continuous growth with Dornan Engineering, we are currently looking to recruit experienced Electricians to join the company on exciting projects. You will join Dornan's hard working and ambitious project teams and you will benefit from a supportive culture, where your ideas and contributions will be recognised. At Dornan, we are currently recruiting for Electrical Supervisors to work on a pharma project in the Athlone area.
Role
- Permanent position based in Athlone
- Experience working on Industrial & Commercial or Pharmaceutical projects
- 2+ years post qualification experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Your day to day will include:
- Support daily project execution across MEP/construction/commissioning workstreams
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, and client teams
- Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications
- Assist with planning, documentation, and reporting
- Resolve onsite issues promptly to maintain project momentum
- Promote and uphold Dornan's safety-first culture
- Support continuous improvement across project delivery
Qualifications:
- Electrical Craft Certificate

- Proven experience in MEP installation / large-scale pharma / commissioning / etc.
- Strong understanding of construction and technical processes
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
