The Role

As Campus Lead, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of a large-scale data centre campus, leading multiple project teams from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will drive programme, commercial, safety and quality performance while acting as the senior point of contact for the client. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring significant international project experience, strong main contracting expertise, and a thorough understanding of MEP and mission-critical environments.

Your Day Will Include

  • Leading the safe and successful delivery of a multi-building data centre campus.
  • Managing and developing high-performing project leadership teams across construction, commercial and engineering functions.
  • Acting as the primary relationship owner with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
  • Driving programme performance, mitigating risks and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
  • Overseeing commercial performance, forecasting, change management and project profitability.
  • Providing strategic leadership across all construction, MEP and commissioning activities.
  • Championing Dornan's culture of safety, quality, collaboration and operational excellence.

About You

  • Proven experience operating at Project Director, Campus Director or equivalent level on major construction projects.
  • Extensive experience delivering large-scale international projects, ideally within the data centre or mission-critical sector.
  • Strong background working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor with responsibility for projects exceeding €300m+.
  • Excellent understanding of both main contracting and MEP delivery, including commissioning and systems integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams across complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project financial performance and client relationships.
  • A collaborative and decisive leader, capable of building trust with clients, project teams and senior stakeholders.

Preferred: Previous experience delivering hyperscale data centre campuses across Europe, North America, the Middle East or APAC would be highly advantageous.
