At Dornan we are currently recruiting for a BIM Manager based on site in London to work on allocated projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Project BIM Coordinators and manage Revit Technician workloads.
- Coordinate with Dornan Engineers, design teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Support project planning and BIM delivery strategies alongside the BIM Manager.
- Chair coordination meetings, track actions, and report on project progress.
- Implement and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and BIM Implementation Plans (BIPs).
- Drive coordination efforts across multidisciplinary teams to resolve clashes and meet project deliverables.
- Chase and challenge internal and external teams to ensure information is received on time.
- Support the development of company BIM standards and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of the Project BIM Manager role and RIBA Stages 5 & 6 for MEP projects.
- Excellent coordination, planning, and communication skills.
- Experience leading meetings and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong technical ability in Revit, Navisworks, Excel, and Fabrication MEP.
- Ability to work independently and manage team performance effectively.
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of HSE systems.
- Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused with a strong leadership mindset.
